Electrical installation details
- Install new 200 amp service disconnect outside
- Install new 200 amp panel left or right of existing panel
- Install 100 amp breaker (120amp?) to back-feed into existing 100 amp panel
- Install surge protection breaker
- Install new 40 amp backup panel
- Move 7 circuits from 100 amp panel to 40 amp panel
Solar installation details
- Run 2x PV wire straight upwards via conduit to roof from existing outdoor meter
- Needs to be 2x lines to split load
- Roof faces south (see photo) so panels will be installed in 5x2 or 6x2
